One of the first steps to accessing flow and freedom again is to recognize when we feel stuck, and why we feel that way. Our resistance to love (and freedom and peace) is natural and it’s why we ever feel stuck. Our remembrance of love, our return to peace, is a natural pathway to releasing the resistance that keeps us stuck.

If you feel stuck in any area of your life, start asking questions. Ask yourself questions, ask the universe questions, ask anyone and anything something. Start a conversation, then have the courage to express what you really want in any given situation.
By opening up the channels of communication, you give silent suffering an outlet and stuck energy can begin to move.
Quiet down inside and listen to whatever arises, however subtle that voice may be. Meditate on that which is being brought to the surface—whether it’s the feeling of being stuck, anger, frustration, boredom, or indifference—and let that be the work for your practice. And see it for what it is: your resistance to love.
In Gabby Bernstein’s book, The Universe Has Your Back, she states that what we long for most is freedom from fear so we can return to peace. Today, I’d actually like us to embrace our resistance to freedom and happiness, because then we can surrender to the guidance of love in any ways that feel authentic for us.
The simple guidance of these mantras will remind you to awaken from fear—which may look like insecurity, boredom, frustration, or indifference—and get in sync with love again.
The following seven mantras are a continuation of last week’s post about getting unstuck, and they can help you shift out of old, fearful, heavy patterns and beliefs that have held you back from feeling light and free.

7 Mantras to Try When You Feel Stuck
“I am becoming a truer version of myself.”
The highest version of myself is not stuck. When I feel stuck I’m actually perceiving limited choices. If I change my perception, I change my experience of life in this moment and I experience myself and my world in a truer light. Through each moment of self-awareness, I am coming closer to who I really am.
This perception sets me free to enjoy life right here as it is.
“I am the author of each moment I live.”
As learn to live the highest expression of myself, my thoughts, feelings, and behaviors arise from within the silence of my own awareness. By living authentically from my real self, I release second-hand experiences that are driven by outside beliefs, expectations, and demands.
I direct my life from within and in this direction I find love, creativity, freedom, and joy in any experience.
I let myself be silently drawn by whatever I love doing, for by spending time in love’s presence my resistance will fall away and I won’t feel stuck anymore.
“I embrace the newness of this day.”
Today, I am completely free from the past. I step into the ever-new possibilities of the present moment and thereby release the staleness of any patterns that make me feel stuck. I recognize the presence of my true self in the present moment, and I gladly accept the wholeness of the universe as my true nature.
My love is renewed here and my peace is replenished now.
The chains on my creativity have been dropped and possibilities have just opened up. I feel fresh, happy.
“My creative potential for change knows no boundaries.”
The more wonder I can express toward life, the more life opens up to me. Every experience reveals life’s unlimited potential for positive expansion. I meet life right now with receptivity, knowing I always have access to my inherent creativity and capacity for change.
I have never been in the same moment more than once, so I honor the newness of this moment with an open mind.
“I fully participate in creating my personal reality.”
I am co-creating not only what I experience, but how I experience it. I am constantly contributing to the world as I know it with every thought, intention, word, and action. In my acceptance of that truth, the universe rises up to heighten my creativity and bring new solutions to my awareness.
There’s no way I can feel stuck and accept my calling as a co-creator at the same time.
“My true purpose is to evolve.”
Beyond this feeling of being stuck is my higher self, which directs my spiritual growth and creative evolution as a human being. I am meant to live a life filled with joy, love, beauty, and peace. I can better embrace this higher vision for my life by remembering that I’m meant to progress with each experience.
Through each experience I will strive to be original, authentic, genuine–that is my purpose.
“Every day unfolds the next step in my journey.”
I live in a world that’s always shifting. I don’t need to have it all figured out intellectually in order to enjoy this step in my journey.
Today I align my own intentions for happiness and peace with the unlimited potential of the universal mind. As I move toward freedom and away from resistance, my world becomes a more friendly place that supports my journey, and miracles happen regularly.
When I move in the direction of more wonder in life, all is well in my soul.
