Goodbye, November. Hello, December. This month is one of the few that feels both like a beginning and an ending. In all your rushing, celebrating, and preparation, I invite you to slow down inside, right in the middle of it all. And I hope you find that these December quotes help you keep smiling through it all.
December may not be everyone’s favorite month. Winter (I know, we’re not quite there yet!) isn’t a popular favorite season. That may be the case, but I think reading some nice December quotes and poetry could help us keep our inner light on so we can see the beauty of each season we find ourselves in.
There is beauty in each season — there is at least something worth seeing.
If you’ve never thought of December — or winter, cold, or snow — with a glad heart, maybe it’s worth wondering how you can approach the inevitable a little differently this year. You might see something in a new light. You might see something new altogether.
What a gift, that we needn’t be in any other season than the one we find ourselves in to start feeling like life has just begun again. That’s the gift of grace, I think.
