5 Affirmations for Your Meaningful Work on the Earth

5 Affirmations for Your Meaningful Work on the Earth

The most meaningful work you'll ever do is the inner work of dismantling the walls of your own heart. Service that sprouts from compassion is the most beautiful work out there. Read these affirmative statements to guide your compassionate work, the love-driven work, the intrinsically-rewarding decisions you make.

The term “work” here is being used to describe your purpose, your passions, your interests, your calling, your mission… the way you serve the greater good while simultaneously serving your own expansion. This is for you to explore and define.

If you can better express how you’re serving and why you’re serving, you’ll feel more empowered through your service — and so will those touched by your service.

Whatever you’re doing now can be turned into meaningful work (if it isn’t already). You can sweep the floors with the intention of cleansing the earth for those who walk upon it. You can speak with hope in your words. You can paint and plan and produce with presence and reverence.

Your work is a reflection of what you're here to offer. Offer with a whole heart, and you’ll receive so much more.

5 Affirmations for Your Meaningful Work

1. My success is derived from within.

I look inward for a rewarding experience. I find fulfillment when I see others shining too. I am expansive enough to see my own reflection in everything around me. No one thing can dampen who I am and what I am here to do.

“We are often tired and imbalanced not because we are doing too much, but because we are doing too little of what is most real and meaningful.” - Marianne Williamson

2. I am an offering of light.

My work is about attraction, not demand. I create a beautiful world through the way I live and give. My energy helps to lift others. I radiate my truth and invite those who resonate to shine with me.

3. My work is an expression of my truth.

My work does not define my worth: my work is an expression and an extension of my innate worth and the light I house within.

“Love is beautiful when it's professed, but it's only meaningful when it's practiced.” - Brene Brown

4. I have come to give.

I focus on what I can bring to the task rather than what I can get out of it. I am here to give what only I can give. I can give with a joyful awareness. My deep-seated desire to contribute informs how I work, love, and play.

“Pay attention to the things you are naturally drawn to. They are often connected to your path, passion, and purpose in life. Have the courage to follow them.” — Ruben Chavez

5. I play with a loving approach to my work.

I am willing to see my work differently today: as another form of play. I infuse lightheartedness into every little thing I do. This is another way of choosing love and coming home to my truth.
