It’s not necessarily what we do that makes the biggest difference but how we do it. The “how” of our lives seriously influences the “what” and it’s a perfect springboard for creativity. We are creative by nature and whenever we put our heart into what we do, we leave our mark on the world. Use these mantras for creativity to align you with your true nature and uniqueness, and send judgment in the other direction.
“You’re creating every moment of your life—from the most common, ordinary creation of new cells in your body, to your emotional responses, to your present job, to your bank account, to your relationships with friends, and to your very attitudes about yourself. It’s all creativity.” — Louise Hay
These mantras for creativity pay tribute to the divine seed of creation that rests within us all—whether we’re here to create new solutions, new combinations, new thoughts, new attitudes, new products, a new dessert, or new life. We are here to create something and anything.
We have a deep-seated desire to use our imagination in such a way that we end up creating something that is larger than ourselves and leaves a legacy. That’s hard to do if we’re caught up in judgment.
When it comes to making an impact on the world around us, it’s not about being better than anyone else; it’s really all about how we do what we do.How you do what you do is in direct relationship to your creative capacity. Click To Tweet
You can do what you do totally different than someone else who’s doing the same thing, and that doesn’t mean you’re better or worse than them. Creativity is about living your life, fully.
Only you can put more you into the world.
It doesn’t matter what your occupation is; nothing keeps you from creativity but your own beliefs that you are not creative or are somehow cut off from your creativity. You can’t lose something you are, though.
To feed our imagination for the purposes of creating something new, we need to make space for creativity. If we’re busy judging other people, events, or the past (the word “should” tends to do that), we’re tightening our quarters and making it more difficult to express freely who we are and how we want to live.
Too much closemindedness blocks the flow of creativity. To help you open back up to what matters to you, here are seven mantras for creativity. Use these sentiments in your meditations, print them out and look at them before you go to work, or pick your favorite and repeat it throughout the day.
Most importantly, enjoy.
