I’ve collected a grouping of my ten favorite guided meditations that can help insulate you from negativity, transform stress into something useful, and help you choose the feelings you want to enjoy during the holidays.
Breathe in peace, and breathe out stress. Take a little time for yourself this season; the benefits can be far-reaching.
10 Guided Meditations for Peace During the Holiday Season
1. Live in Joy Meditation
Inhale happiness and exhale stress and anxiety with this 5-minute guided meditation from Gabrielle Bernstein–praised spiritual teacher, speaker, and author. Honor your feelings. Turn inward, and activate your power to cultivate joy and release anything that would keep you from being at peace.
2. Self-Love Reboot Meditation
The 3 1/2-minute Self-Love Reboot Meditation is from Kris Carr—wellness advocate and best selling author. You can enjoy this track for free for a limited time. It’s part of her Self-Care for Busy People Meditation Album, which includes ten meditation tracks, all under 15 minutes, to help you remain calm and happy.
3. Deep Relaxation and Bliss
Fourteen minutes of relaxation can make a world of difference in your state of mind. If you’re stressed out, this short meditation offers a much-needed respite from the chaos. Plus, I love the speaker’s voice and the peaceful background music.
4. Meditation to Ease Anxiety, Worry, and Urgency
Take ten minutes with this guided meditation to ease anxiety, worries, and feelings of being rushed. Soft speech, guided imagery with nature, and the flute and string music in the background creates a safe, supportive space. 5. A Meditation to Calm the Eff Down
Here’s an awesome 3-minute meditation from Gabby Bernstein that can be used anytime you’re overwhelmed and need to get anchored in a peaceful place. This practice focuses on a pulsed breathing pattern that can be paired with a mantra and/or hand gesture to really let the craziness go and invite the serenity back in.
6. Standing Guided Meditation
This is an offering from Eckhart Tolle and Kim Eng. Scroll down the page about a third of the way, until you see the title “Meditation videos.” This is a free, 8 1/2-minute version of Kim’s standing guided meditation to help you stay present and rooted in your body as you witness your thoughts, express your emotions, and let judgment go.
7. The Five Minute Miracle
For a quick daily reminder to be mindful, take five minutes to release distractions and empower yourself through the power of imagination with this lovely guided meditation. We all have the gift of imagination, and can use it as a force for good.
8. Blissful Deep Relaxation
The soothing sound of ocean waves in this 18-minute guided meditation makes it easier to breathe in deeply and exhale all tension. 9. Peace Begins with Me
Here’s another beautiful guided meditation from Gabrielle Bernstein. This meditation uses the mantra, “Peace begins with me,” combined with a simple hand mudra (gesture) to bring you back home to peace and happiness. You can literally use it anywhere, anytime, in any circumstance. I love this one so much, and I wrote more about it here.
10. 21-Day Meditation Experiences

I always join and love these guided meditations offered by Oprah Winfrey and Deepak Chopra.
