Hi Jen, after hearing the extremely devastating news about Kobe, his beautiful daughter and seven others that perished in the helicopter crash yesterday, I was profoundly drawn to your #1 quote about “Life”. This truly is a vivid reminder of just how precious and fragile life is. My heart goes out to all the families affected by this tragedy.

Janelle, thank you for such a thoughtful comment. I am sorry you’ve had so much loss over these last 5 years without much breathing space. I can relate, I think, and know how easy it is to feel like you’ve lost yourself in the sea of grief, regret, anger, disappointment, and doubt. I don’t have all the answers either, but I think love is a valid place to begin, end, and find yourself again right in the middle of everything. Love to you <3

Hello there, this is my initial visit to your wonderful domain. I trully feel the quote that not only captured my attention (because more than one did) but also reflects near the journey I’ve seemed to have been surviving through, seems very close to the following read #25.

    25. “Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the acceptance of love back in our hearts. Love is the essential reality and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life. Meaning does not lie in things. Meaning lies in us.” – Marianne Williamson

I have suffered through significant amounts of loss in the last 5 years non stop, and although I’ve tried to remain humble, hopeful. And compassionate about life I have time and time again to be very disheartening and I feel so very alone. My heart is broken and torn between what was and the what could be..
I’ve gained more knowledge and acceptance for my own faults. I’ve tried and still in some ways keep striving to do what’s good and right but, I’ve lost sight of who I was and am today. Love is all i have and want to gain.
Thank you so much 4 the beautiful inspirational words.
