You have the power to create the world you want to see. What a gift! This positive affirmation will help you harness that power by inspiring you to be the change you want to see in your world. Let today be the day you are committed to being before seeing, and giving before receiving.
“What you see reflects your thinking, and your thinking but reflects the choice of what you want to see.” – A Course In Miracles
All of the positive affirmations shared on this blog are tools to help you break down the walls that are keeping you stuck somewhere you don’t want to be–in a situation that’s stressing you out, in an unhealthy environment, in a feeling itself, etc.
Repeating an affirmation is itself a way to BE the change you want to see, to sit in the feeling of what you desire before you even see the change—this is manifesting what you want, and this is inviting the shift.
And, this shift is a miracle.
Be Aware of Your Role in the World
I’m aware of my power to change.
The first step to changing anything is awareness. What do you see? What do you want to see? What are you thinking? Are your thoughts supporting the vision in your head of what you want, or are you focusing on what you don’t want?
Be hyper aware of the words and phrases you use, and the ones that don’t serve what it is you want. Be aware of who you spend your time with; are they inspiring and supportive of your dreams?
The only place you can begin is where you are, and the only time you can begin is always now.
Aldous Huxley once said, “There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that’s your own self.” Yet by altering your own self, it’s quite impossible not to have an impact on the world around you, the people around you, and the energy that surrounds you.
The energy you bring into this moment is what alters the energy of this moment. And if we’re not present in this moment, we cannot consciously bring the energy we wish to experience more of in life.
When you become aware of what you see and you decide that you don’t like it, you have a choice to be positive or negative about it. Will you fight the old, or will you build the new? Will you attract what you give, or will you react to and thus attract more of what you don’t like? Will you reflect fear, or will you mirror love?
If you don’t like what’s being said, change the conversation. If you don’t like what’s being shown to you, and you can’t change the what, change the way you look at it. Being negative only makes the journey more difficult, narrows your perspective, and attracts more to be negative about.
No matter what shows up in your world, you have the capacity to be at peace within yourself.
Feel that power you have to create the world you want to see, and accept that you have this power. In the words of Rumi, “Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.”
Visualize the Change
I see the change because I believe in it first, because I am it.
The next step in creating the world you want to live in is to begin to suspend disbelief.
When you’re in a state of belief, that’s what you’re creating. Change your perception around the situation. Re-frame it with a belief system that’s truthful and natural to you; this means using affirmations that you believe in (or else they won’t work). Reach for thoughts you can believe in.
Through consistent and persistent visualization of the change coming to fruition in your life, you will experience the shift. You literally invite what you give your mental and emotional energy to most.
You have to believe it before you see it. The point is to align with the vibration of the things you want. The act of sitting in a daily experience of visualization means to act as if the miracle has already happened.
The key is to feel what you want to create before it’s already come into form. Once the change you want to see has occurred, what does it feel like? What are you doing in this new life? Feel it as if you’re already living it, and get specific about what your life looks and feels like post-shift.

Be the Change and Live in the Energy of It
Whatever it is I want to see different, I embody that change.
See the world as a representation of your own state of mind. Like attracts like. Like energy attracts like energy. Choose happy thoughts on a consistent basis and more happiness will be drawn into energetic harmony with the frequency you’re offering.
If you’re constantly cranky and upset, then you will absolutely be inviting more of the same into your experience. Picture life as a big mirror: what you direct toward it, in the “form” of your thoughts and energy, will be reflected back to you. Only give what you want more of. Only think passionately about the things you want to magnify.
Buzz the frequency you wish to live in out into the world and whatever your dominant energetic patterns are, that’s what will boomerang back to you in the form of things, people, opportunities, and experiences.
The Law of Attraction basically states that the universe has the ability to deliver to you that which you radiate.
The universe is listening to your dominant thoughts. When you say “I don’t want to be stressed,” the universe hears “Bring me more stress.” When you say “I want peace,” the universe hears “Bring me more peace.” What you want or don’t want isn’t the focal point of your thoughts–the topic is. Are you thinking about stress, or peace?
By consciously priming positive thoughts, feelings, actions, and intentions, you activate and work with the law to manifest what you want (by being what you want).
Be the change you want to experience, and remain open to all possibilities of how the change may propagate. Once your intention has been released, trust and surrender to the myriad of ways that the universe will support you. Don’t worry about how your order will be served; place the order and trust that it’s being fulfilled.
Be thankful now for the change that’s currently taking place, for it clears the way for true miracles.
The outside shifts when the inside shifts.
- In what small ways can you be the change you want to see today?
- What are you telling yourself?
- What can you offer to the world, the conversation, the situation, the person, and yourself?
- How will you show up for your life today?
- Have you ever tried creative visualization, and how did it work?
