If there was ever a time to heed the call of what you love and do what matters, that time is now. The purpose of these affirmations is to nurture the seeds of potential. They’re heart notifications to feed yourself faith until you believe in your dreams so much that you just can’t help but follow in your own footsteps.
“Create in your mind a vision of what you want and never take your eyes from it, and the entire universe will cooperate with it.” — Abraham-Hicks
I love creating empowering affirmations that support our best intentions, even and especially when we don’t initially believe in ourselves. The reason I write the affirmations in the first place is that I need my own support—it’s my belief in myself that matters most.
Like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, at the end of her journey, asking Glinda the Good Witch for help to go back home, she realized just how powerful she’d been all along. Nobody else could believe in her capabilities for her; that was her assignment.
Not everyone is going to believe in your dreams, either, and that’s just not as important as what you believe in.
When it comes to turning the invisible into the visible, believing in the positive possibilities that exist is the best place to start. Using self-affirming statements generates momentum and keeps us walking in the direction of what we love.Dreams aren't things to be lost or gained; they're already planted, and they wait to be nurtured with faith. They are seeds of potential. We are the gardners. tweet this
Use any one of these affirmations to cultivate an inner dialogue that’s supportive and nurturing. Use them to break your overarching goal down into something you can do here, from this place.
Believe in Your Dreams: 5 Sincere Affirmations to Support Your Best Life
1. I am allowed to be what I want.
I live according to my own ideals and I forge my own pathways. I don’t have to be what anyone else wants me to be. To be successful, I need to believe in what’s possible—that’s my responsibility. I know who I am and my dreams begin with the truth, not opinion.
2. I trust that where I am is where I’m meant to be.
I am connected to what I envision for myself the moment I envision it for myself. I am standing in the right place. There’s nowhere else I should be because here I am, and from here I go.“Not everyone needs to believe in your dream, but you do.” — Chris Guillebeau Click To Tweet
3. I am free to break free.
I want to break free from my cocoon more than I want to stay cradled in comfort. I am not defined by opinion, expectation, doubt, failure, an outcome, or any one moment in time. I have no limits. No deadlines can stop my dreams from flourishing. Nothing can cage the passion I sense in my heart.
4. I believe in who I really am.
I am automatically on the path to fulfilling my greatest truth. Every day contributes to the process of becoming the most authentic version of myself. I sing my own song because that is how I really get in touch with the true treasures of being alive. The first and middle steps to authentic success is to believe in yourself. tell a friend
5. I can learn as I go and get better with every step.
I can figure things out. A lot of people know a lot of things I don’t know, and I can learn from them. Support is available, whether out in the open or behind doors I’ve yet to open. I am capable. I believe in the growth of what I focus on when I focus with love.
