7 Meditation Mantras to Harness the Power of Belief
Mantra #1: My beliefs enhance my life.
Belief is dynamic and alive. Beliefs are always in motion, constantly influencing our thoughts, feelings, and behavior. They color our existence. Our unconscious beliefs are always affecting us as well, but to use the power of belief to our greatest benefit, we need to become self-aware.
What we believe influences how we feel about ourselves, other people, our careers, our status, our family, politics, and world events. Belief makes us see everything as clear as day, or nothing at all. It can inspire the highest fulfillment or lead to the most frustrating setbacks.
What makes all the difference is how self-aware you are about your beliefs.
Your beliefs build the foundation of your life’s meaning. Awareness of your beliefs guides you through life from a genuine space.
During your meditation (or whenever you need to come back to a space of awareness) repeat this centering thought: My beliefs enhance my life.
Mantra #2: What I believe makes me who I am.
Belief gives us identity. We shape our identities around what we feel to be true about ourselves. Beliefs we hold about ourselves may be either mild or passionate, and they may be true or not, but they all still contribute to who we are.
When we think about who we are, we will often look at gender, race, age, job position, marriage status, political affiliations, and other labels. We do not have to accept labels unless we want to. Every label is either true or not depending on what we believe.
Sometimes, we don’t even clearly know what our beliefs are, because many are hidden or unconscious. Through meditation, we can gain greater clarity about how our beliefs form our identities, because to truly understand ourselves, we need to examine our beliefs closely in the light of our awareness.
Again, self-awareness sheds light on your innate beliefs and allows you to better know your own true self. Dig deep and unearth your true self. Your truth will emerge one layer, and one belief, at a time.
During your meditation (or whenever you need to come back to your truth) repeat this centering thought: What I believe makes me who I am.
Mantra #3: My true self can be trusted to lead me.
Bring hidden beliefs into the light. When beliefs lie hidden in our unconscious mind, they can be traps that create unnecessary limitations and obstacles in our lives. When we illuminate these unconscious or shadowed beliefs, we reveal our true nature.
Fearful beliefs about ourselves and others, left in the dark, will limit us in all sorts of ways. Once we bring these hidden beliefs to light, they begin to dissolve and lose their power over us. The core beliefs that affirm our true nature then begin to shine through and light our way.
As we master that understanding, we embrace a deeper and richer knowledge of who we are and who we can be.
It’s easier to hold onto a negative belief than to face it, but allow yourself to look into the shadows. These negative beliefs are rarely true. Your positive beliefs better reflect who you really are, and they will guide you back to yourself, back to a place of love and a real connection with the support that’s all around you and within you.
During your meditation (or whenever you need to shine a light on fearful thoughts) repeat this centering thought: My true self can be trusted to lead me.
Mantra #4: Belief renews me every day.
Your positive beliefs expand your horizons in life. They are connected to your true self and so their energy is life-affirming and nurturing. They promote love, happiness, and creativity, foster all aspects of your life, and encourage your awareness to grow and expand.
When you consciously choose to focus on your positive beliefs, you open yourself to unlimited possibilities.
Your positive beliefs emanate from a place of trust, kindness, and authenticity. It’s a force that’s energizing and enlightening, and tapping into their power will literally dissolve any limitations that you’ve placed on yourself.
Real fulfillment is not ego-driven; inner success is not driven by fame, fortune, winning, or being right. Real fulfillment is attained when we feel naturally open to new possibilities, confident that a solution is around the corner, and happy in the presence of our own energy.
During your meditation (or whenever you need to return to positive energy) repeat this centering thought: Belief renews me every day.
Mantra #5: My beliefs give me the life I want.
The power of belief is always working behind the scenes to create our identity, and they literally can dictate our reality. This mantra helps us to consciously choose and direct our beliefs so that we are in charge of them–not the other way around.
By holding positive, uplifting beliefs, we can create the life we want. Since beliefs are based on perception, and you are the creator of your perceptions, you have the power to shift your reality.
Wherever you are in your life is a reflection of what you believe to be possible for you in this world. What do you believe is possible for yourself?
Everything we do, think, or say expresses a belief either directly or indirectly. Don’t give up on the belief that you can live in peace, love more fully, live a happy life, or turn any of your dreams into reality.
During your meditation (or whenever you need to realign with your highest potential) repeat this centering thought: My beliefs give me the life I want.
