Happiness comes more easily when we’re conscious about expressing gratitude in our daily lives. After all, it is not happy people who are thankful; it is thankful people who are happy. Here are ten things I’m sure many of us can be thankful for today.
Gratitude is not a practice to save for a special occasion; it’s a way of approaching life.
Life is good and beautiful. Sometimes it’s hard to see past the struggle that’s right in front of us, this I know. Yet if you make gratitude a priority in your life, and you will find it easier to see the good that’s all around.Count your blessings instead of tallying up your burdens. Click To Tweet

10 Things to Be Thankful for Today
1. The positive people in your life.
Cherish the ones who cheer you on through the good times and lift you up during the bad times. If you need more supportive people in your life, seek them out. Consciously surround yourself with good friends and loving family members.

2. Food on your plate and clean drinking water.
Lots of people around the world are faced with situations much more dire than mine and yours. Their problems may actually mean life or death today. Be grateful that you are able to eat and drink without much second thought. If you can, do something to help others in need.

6. Change and diversity.

Plain and simple, this world is amazing. The fact that we are living creatures roaming this earth is a blessing and a miracle. Every season brings a new view to appreciate. 8. You can always choose to think differently.
We are each responsible for our own sense of happiness, inner peace, commitment to growth, and the way we go about living our lives. This is a very good thing! Though it’s easy to get distracted by outside influences, you are ultimately responsible for your internal state of being.
It’s not always easy to choose happiness over stress, peace over anxiety, or forgiveness over bitterness. The good news is that IT IS POSSIBLE. When you realize this, you can take your power back, and your life. If you change your mind, consider it a miracle. You are responsible for the energy you bring to this space. Click To Tweet
